In addition, if high school graduates meet the necessary conditions, they are accepted to many countries abroad for university education. In addition, a student who is studying at a university in his country can continue his education life at a university periodically or continuously abroad.

UNIVERSITY IN ENGLAND

Although the UK, which consists of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland can be visited with a single visa, these countries have education ministries and their own education systems.

However, while the education systems of England, Wales and Northern Ireland are very similar, Scotland has a different education system than these three countries. UNDERGRADUATE EDUCATION IN THE UK

Students’ admission to any UK university is subject to the following 2 conditions.

 

1- Being academically sufficient

The academic qualifications that universities look for in students may differ from school to school or from department.

Because Turkey and the UK education system are different from one another Turkish university students usually begin with the Foundation program called academic preparation. This program may take a semester or an academic year depending on the student’s English ability. The biggest advantage of Foundation programs is that students take preliminary courses related to the department they are going to study, while increasing their English level.

2- English language proficiency

In order for students to start their academic education, they need to prove their knowledge of English with an international exam score. However, students do not need to prove this at the first application stage. They can also forward the current exam result later.

While the IELTS score requested from students who will start their undergraduate education directly is 6.0, the IELTS score required from the students who will start their undergraduate education with the Foundation preparatory program can decrease up to 4.5.

In addition, students can apply with accepted exam results such as TOEFL, CPE, PTE, CAE in return for IELTS score.

MASTER EDUCATION IN THE UK

Graduate programs in the UK are studied in 3 main groups. These:

1- Certificate or diploma programs for graduate students,

2- Master (master) programs

3- Doctorate programs

The duration of certificate or diploma programs for graduate students varies between 3 months and 1 year. After the completion of some programs, transition to graduate programs can also take place.

Master (master) programs usually take 1 year. There are also programs that last 18 months or 2 years.

WHAT ARE GENERAL ACCEPTANCE TERMS?

In order to have an academic career in England and participate in certificate programs accepted by many countries, the following conditions are generally sought.
